TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville City Schools announces Tuesday, May 8, a list of Hewitt-Trussville Middle School Duke TIP scholars.
According to their website, the Duke Talent Identification Program (TIP) identifies academically talented students around the globe and provides innovative programs to support the development of their education potential.
Duke TIP is a nonprofit organization serving over 2.8 million academically talented students in grades four through twelve since 1980.
Hewitt-Trussville Middle School recognized state recognition students:
Courtney Crowe, Liam Eubanks, Camilia Garrett, Molly Kate Green, Stephen Grigsby, Darcy Hall, Seth Hickman, Parker Hull, Sophia Li, June Mobley, Olivia Nafziger, Halle Brooke Parsons, Jones Preg, Koen Pritchard, Kendall Reeves, Reagan Roberts, Ashley Rodgers, Rubie Simon, Gavin Snyder, Rex Usry, and Mallory Whitt.
In addition to State Recognition, Molly Kate Green and Jones Preg both received honors at the national level, earning them a medal for Grand Recognition.
