BLOUNT COUNTY –According to the Alabama State Troopers, a 28-year-old woman died from injuries sustained in a Blounty County crash.
A two-vehicle crash at 7:47 p.m. Thursday, has claimed the life of a North Carolina woman, ALEA said in a statement released on Friday.
Ashley Diane Lindsey, 28, was seriously injured when the 2005 Toyota Scion she was driving collided with a 2014 Ford F-150. Lindsey was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
A child passenger in Lindsey’s vehicle was transported to Children’s of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford F-150 was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Oneonta for minor injuries.
The crash occurred on Alabama Highway 75 one mile south of Oneonta.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
