BIRMINGHAM — Police are investigating the death of a man who was found in an alley this morning. The victim has not yet been identified and no suspects are currently in custody.
The discovery was made at 10:50 a.m. on Monday morning when officers from the South Precinct were called to the the 1100 block of Appalachee Street. The victim was a white male who was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in an alley. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office is working to identify the victim while police continue to investigate.
