ASHLAND — Two men from Ashland were killed in a crash that occurred at 11:03 p.m. on Sunday night.
James Thomas Clark, 52, and Jeffery Clark, 50, were traveling on Alabama Highway 9 when Clark’s 1997 Nissan Maxima left the roadway and struck a tree. The crash caused the car to catch fire. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, both men were not wearing seat belts and were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the incident.
