TRUSSVILLE –The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a flash flood watch for Jefferson, St. Clair and Blount counties until 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Recent rains have saturated the ground and rains on Wednesday could be locally heavy at times and produce flash flooding. Use precautions and do not try to drive through water covered roads.
