ST. CLAIR COUNTY — On June 4, the Alabama Department of Transportation will close the left lane of I-59 North from north of St. Clair Springs exit to south of the Ashville exit. The lane will be closed for paving operations.
Operations will start at 7 a.m. The lane is expected to re-open at around 4 p.m. The lane will be closed again at 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. from June 5 to June 9.
“Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this construction operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.”
