From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
The Trussville Police Department has confirmed that it will not file charges of child sex abuse against former interim Birmingham Police Chief Orlando Wilson, who resigned in April following the allegations.
Wilson was interim police chief after A.C. Roper retired from the department. His accuser was a Trussville mother who said that Wilson had sexually abused a girl and physically abused a young boy.
Wilson’s attorney said that the allegations were false and were the result of a custody and child support dispute.
