BIRMINGHAM- Birmingham-Southern College football head coach Tony Joe White and his staff will host a youth football camp on Thursday, June 14.
During the camp, kids will learn football fundamentals from one of the best offensive coaches in the nation in coach White and current Birmingham-Southern players.
White believes that the camp will be beneficial for the kids and their future.
“The goal for us as is to teach the younger kids the basics of football. We will be instructional but most importantly we will have fun,” White said.
Coach White has been around college football for over 20 years with coordinator positions at Louisiana Tech, Southeast Missouri State, Bellhaven University, and Centre College prior to becoming the head coach at Birmingham-Southern.
Kids from the second to fifth grade are eligible for the camp. The cost for the camp is $35 and runs from 9 a.m to 1 p.m.
