HOMEWOOD –A Homewood woman returning home from work was robbed at gunpoint on her front porch early Friday morning. The suspects are still at large.
The woman’s husband posted on social media that the robbery occurred at about 3:20 a.m. on Friday when his wife returned home from work at Children’s of Alabama.
As she was about to unlock her the front door of her Edgewood home, two black male teens appeared out of nowhere and robbed her of her purse and other items at gunpoint.
The suspects escaped down Cliff Place and remain at large. According to WBRC, police have confirmed that one shot was fired, but no one was injured.
