BIRMINGHAM — Birmingham police have released the name of a suspect that was taken in after a woman was shot and killed on Monday night.
Tiffany Cooper, 35, was killed last night following a domestic argument with her mother on 16th Place Southwest in Birmingham. Angela Cooper, 57, was identified as the suspect.
Angela Cooper is being held at the Jefferson County Jail. A reckless murder warrant with a $20,000 bond was obtained by detectives.
Though she has been brought into custody, the Birmingham Police Department is still investigating the incident.
