TRUSSVILLE — With weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation plans to perform roadway repairs on Interstate 59 southbound from Deerfoot exit 143 to the Cahaba River bridge in Trussville.
ALDOT will close the left lane and shoulder of I-59 southbound starting at 6 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 19, and ending at 11 p.m. and will go through Thursday, June 21.
“Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this maintenance operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.”
