BIRMINGHAM — A shooting in north Birmingham left two people with life-threatening injuries on Friday morning. A suspect was taken into custody by officers from the Birmingham Police Department after they responded to the scene.
According to the BPD, officers responded to a call of a shooting at around 7:15 a.m. on Friday. When they arrived to the 3100 block of 43rd Avenue North, they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.
The shooting victims were black males and sustained life-threatening injuries that required surgery.
