BIRMINGHAM — Police are investigating a shooting that left two injured and one person dead at the 1600 block of 25th Court
North in Birmingham.
At around 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning, officers from the North Precinct responded to a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, they found three victims who had been shot. A black female in her late 30’s to early 40’s was pronounced dead at the scene. She was identified as Darkisha Michelle Stuston.

The other victims were black males who were transferred to UAB Hospital to be treated for injuries. One of them had injuries that were life-threatening while the other did not.
According to the Birmingham Police Department, no suspects or motive has been determined. Police continue to investigate.
