FAIRFIELD — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case of a Fairfield teenager who was struck by a bullet while lying in bed.
On Friday, July 20, 17-year-old Zo Shauka was lying asleep in his bed as a bullet hit him from outside his home. The bullet entered the window before wounding him, causing serious injuries. He was taken to an area hospital to be treated.
