Johnnie Bea Farmer passed away, at 85, on July31, 2018. She was a resident of Trussville, Aland a member of Central Baptist Church.
Johnnie was born in Eden, AL and grew up in White Plains, AL in Calhoun County. She was a graduate of Hewitt Trussville High School and Jefferson State where she got her degree in business. After marrying Clifton Farmer, she moved to Pinson, AL where they raised their two sons.
Johnnie was the proud business owner of Clifton Farmer Roofing. Johnnie was a devoted Christian. She was baptized by her father when she was 12 years old. Johnnie enjoyed traveling and has visited numerous countries.
She was a loving mother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death her loving husband of61 ears, Clifton Farmer. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Flora Davis; her four sisters, Virginia, Alma, Bernice “Doodle”; her three brothers, Marlin, Ed and Wilbur. She is survived by her loving, sons, Neal Farmer and David D. Farmer and numerous niece and nephews.
Johnnies funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 4th at Jefferson Memorial Chapel in Trussville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial’s adjoining cemetery.
