SPRINGVILLE – A public notice has been posted that the Springville City Council will hold a public meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 27 at City Hall, Dr. to hear comments related to proposed Ordinance 2018-10 to rezone the recently annexed property located at 1231 Village Springs Rd.
Amending the ordinance would be the next step necessary for progress of the proposed development of a 650-home neighborhood. The master plan for the proposed development is available for review at the building and zoning department located at 151 Industrial Drive.
The planned unit development known as Wright Family Farm, LLC., would include 550 R-4 lots and 100 R-1 lots when completed. No more than 75 construction permits could be issued in any calendar year.
The 303 acre site would include at least 35 acres of natural area which would include walking trails, a clubhouse almost 10 acres on playgrounds.
The amenities must be completed by the time 60 percent of the homes are developed.
The hearing is open to the public and all interested parties are invited to attend. All persons who desire shall have an opportunity of being heard in favor of or in opposition of this matter.
