TRUSSVILLE – If the weather permits then beginning Thursday, August 30, at 8 p.m., the Alabama Department of Transportation will resurface the exit ramp from I-59 south bound to I-459 southbound in Trussville.
Due to the work the inside (left) land and shoulder of the ramp will be closed in the work area. Upon completion of work on the inside lane work will continue on the outside lane in a similar fashion. The southbound ramp to I-459 South will remain open, but will be reduced to a single lane.
All lanes will be re-opened to traffic no later than 5 a.m., Friday, August 31st.
ALDOT requests that motorists consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area.
