PELL CITY — In a day where mass shootings are a daily occurrence and violence is at an all-time high across America, there has never been a better time for cities and churches to unite with prayer for our country, our state, our county, our individual cities and the municipal leaders that make daily decisions on the welfare of the people.
What began as a simple invitation to pray for city leaders, Pray ’18 has turned into what could be one of the most important events in the life of St. Clair County.
Planning for this event began when Rev. Jacky Connell, senior pastor at Eden Westside, felt a call from God to bring our area leaders together for a time of encouragement and prayer.
Pray ’18 is open to anyone who would like to attend and will be held at the Eden Campus of Eden Westside Baptist Church located at 223 Wolf Creek Road North. The Eden Westside Worship Factory will also be open for 1st – 6th grades with an awesome worship service including exciting games, great music and crazy characters. Bring your kids so they can learn that we are “Never Too Young”! Preschool activities will also be provided.
