From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE –Birmingham police officers executed search warrant at a residence in Trussville on Tuesday morning just after 9 a.m., according to Birmingham police Lt. Raymond Cochran.
The residence is located in a subdivision just off of U.S. Highway 11 north of the Deerfoot Parkway intersection. The entrance to the neighborhood was blocked by police vehicles while the officers conducted the search.
A large contingent of officers participated in the operation, several wore masks to protect their undercover identity.
Cochran did not say what items were included in the warrant, but said more details would be made available after the operation was complete.
“We expect to issue an arrest warrant for at least one individual,” Cochran said.
Lt. Phil Dillon said Trussville police were made aware of the operation.
