TRUSSVILLE— There has been some change in the Alabama Sports Writers Association football rankings for this week.
Pinson Valley (5-1) has taken over as the number one team in 6A after the previous number one ranked team, Wetumpka, fell to Stanhope Elmore 34-28 last week.
Clay-Chalkville also moved up from fifth to fourth as well in 6A.
Hewitt-Trussville stays at the number two spot in 7A this week as they get ready to matchup with the number seven ranked Mountain Brook this Friday.
