TRUSSVILLE –Weather permitting, on Saturday, October 13th and Monday, October 15th at 8 a.m., the Alabama Department of Transportation will be installing conduit along the I-59 Southbound Bridge at Milepost 137.417, in Trussville. at the intersection of I-59 @ I-459 as follows.
The conduit installation will require the outside (right) lane and shoulder of I-59 to be closed in the area of the work. Following completion of work in the northbound lane, work will continue in the northbound lane at other bridges in a similar manner.
All travel lanes will be reopened to traffic no later than 4:30 p.m.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this Maintenance Operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
