SAN FRANCISCO – Hundreds of Google engineers and other employees are expected to walk off their jobs Thursday morning, November 1, in a protest for the sexual misconduct of the company’s executives.
According to FOXNews, the employees’ demands are not clear one employee said their list will help those affected by sexual harassment at work.
The protest comes in response to a Oct. 25 report by New York Times that claimed Google gave Android creator Andy Rubin a $90 million exit package after he was accused in 2013 of forcing an employee to “perform oral sex in a hotel room.”
The accusations were denied by Rubin on Twitter, claiming the allegations reported were “part of a smear campaign to disparage me during a divorce and custody battle.”
