BIRMINGHAM — Birmingham police have reported that on Thursday afternoon, a car was struck by a train in Birmingham, according to WBRC.

This is the second incident involving a car/train collision in as many weeks.
According to police, the event happened at 31st Street SW and happened when the driver of the car went around the train guard rails. Police are also reporting that there were two juveniles in the vehicle and that no one was transported to the hospital.
