ST. CLAIR COUNTY — The Alabama Department of Transportation will close either the right or left lanes of I-59 SB at various locations on Monday, Dec. 10, beginning at 8 a.m., weather permitting, for clearing and grassing operations between the Etowah County line, mile marker 175, and the St. Clair Springs exit 156.
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 5 p.m. on Monday.
These same lane closures will be in place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, through Saturday, Dec. 15.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area.
