TRUSSVILLE — UPDATE: Cameron’s mother, Kristin Kelly, reports that her son has been found safe.
PREVIOUSLY REPORTED: A Trussville mother is asking for help in locating her 15-year-old son.
“Cameron, my son, has been missing over 24 hours,” Kristin Kelly said via social media. “We have filed a missing persons report, but if anyone sees him please contact me, Cory, Trussville Police Department, or Jefferson County Police Department (Sheriff’s Office).”
Kelly said her son is around 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 160 lbs.
“I do not know what he was last wearing, except for his shoes, which were black tennis shoes,” Kelly said. “He had a white Under Armour backpack and also a black baseball bag. He could be around Alabama Drive in Trussville and possibly in a black 4Runner.”
Kelly asked people to pray for Cameron and to be on the lookout for him.
“If you know anything, get in touch with me or the police,” Kelly said. “The police are very much involved in this case and are aware of who and where he may be, but we need all the help we can get.”
The Trussville Police Department can be reached at 205-655-2101. Cameron’s parents can be reached at 205-567-2518 or 205-563-3002.
