A Tuscaloosa man has been arrested and charged with five counts of possessing child porn and three counts of producing porn with a minor, according to court records.
Records show that George Major Battles Jr. was arrested on Dec. 18 and booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail. Records also indicate that an investigation into the activities was performed by Vance Police Department and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Court documents show that, in one of the incidents Battles is charged with, law enforcement recovered video of a child under six, nude on a bed and being molested by an adult male. Law enforcement was able to identify the child, who disclosed that Battles had taken nude images of her.
Battles is currently in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a total bond of $525,000.
