BIRMINGHAM — After receiving an early prison release, Larry Langford is back in Birmingham. WBRC reported that Langford was taken to Princeton Baptist Medical Center on Saturday evening.

According to WBRC, after Langford was convicted on bribery, conspiracy and fraud charges back in 2009, he was given a sentence that would have kept him in jail until 2023.
WBRC also reported that on Friday, Federal Judge Scott Coogler reduced the sentence to time served.
