LAKE WORTH, Fla. — Police arrested Deanna Seltzer, 28, after she reportedly attacked her parents for not taking her to Outback Steakhouse on Wednesday, according to WERC.
WERC reported that after authorities arrived on scene, they discovered a table had been flipped over, broken glass was everywhere in the dining room and there was a big knife on a counter in the kitchen.
Authorities were informed by the mother that after Seltzer was told that she would not be going to Outback, Seltzer punched the mother in the chest and on the arm. Seltzer’s father attempted to stop the fight and was scratched several times on his face and upper body, according to WERC.
“Deanna went around the house flipping recliners and tearing up other random … furniture inside the home,” an arrest report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.
Allegedly, Seltzer screamed, flipped over a table, destroyed furniture, grabbed a knife and ran toward her father while threatening to kill him. The father eluded the knife and took it from Seltzer.
WERC reported that Seltzer was charged with two counts of aggravated battery, battery and battery on a person over 65 years of age.
