WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Donald Trump will address the nation directly about the issues on the southern border and will, later in the week, travel to the border in person.
The national address is set for Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST (8 p.m. CST).
“I am pleased to inform you that I will Address the Nation on the Humanitarian and National Security crisis on our Southern Border. Tuesday night at 9:00 P.M. Eastern,” the president said from his Twitter account.

It is not yet known which networks will broadcast the president’s address.
