FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A criminal investigation has been launched into R&B artist R. Kelly after a documentary-style television program highlighted numerous allegations of sexual misconduct between the singer and several young girls, according to WVTM.
WVTM reported the Fulton County DA’s Office is researching the conduct of Kelly and a mansion in Johns Creek, Georgia, that the entertainer once owned.
The television program that appears to be the catalyst for the investigation is called “Surviving R. Kelly.” It premiered on the Lifetime Television Network on Jan. 3.
