JEFFERSON COUNTY — After a third random shooting into an occupied vehicle in Jefferson County, the Metro Area Crime Center is investigating a possible connection, according to WBRC.
The third shooting occurred at 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday at the Lakeshore Parkway ramp onto Interstate 65 in Homewood. The other two shootings occurred on Jan. 3 on Old Springville Road and Parkway East. Those shootings were just 10 minutes apart.

The suspect vehicle was reported to be a black or dark sedan in all three shootings.
In the Springville Road shooting, a 14-year-old was grazed by a bullet. In the Parkway East shooting, 28-year-old Carltez Clark was killed.
