ST. CLAIR COUNTY — A man serving a life sentence has escaped from the St. Clair Correctional Facility, according to the Department of Corrections.
On Wednesday, Corey Aris Davis, 30, escaped from the facility. Davis is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 150 lbs. He has strawberry blond hair and blue eyes.

According to ABC 33/40, Davis was sentenced to life in prison in 2017 under the Habitual Offender Act for two charges of human trafficking in Lauderdale County. Davis has previous convictions of theft, arson, burglary and breaking and entering a vehicle.
