TUSCALOOSA — Disaster was averted on Monday when a cargo plane made a crash landing at the Tuscaloosa airport with its front landing gear retracted and nobody was hurt.
The crash occurred before 9:30 p.m., according to the Tuscaloosa News.
The Tuscaloosa News reported that the plane had arrived from Laredo, Texas, and that the crashed forced the airport’s runways to close.
It was expected that they would reopen on Tuesday, according to the Tuscaloosa News.
