Police said they have received information about an individual, and perhaps individuals, that have been fraudulently soliciting donations for Presley. Police warn that this is a scam.
According to officials, the only ways to donate are through the official GoFundMe page, t-shirt sales and in person at the Tarrant Public Safety Building. Officials also said that all legitimate fundraisers are posted on the Tarrant Police Department Internet page. Anyone who feels that they have had contact with a scammer is requested to contact Tarrant Detectives at (205) 849-2811.
Police with Tarrant ask that people keep Presley and his family in their prayers.
