MONTGOMERY — Two protestors were arrested for disorderly conduct outside of the office building of the state’s attorney general on Wednesday.
The protests were related to Attorney General Steve Marshall’s report deeming the police killing of Emantic “EJ” Bradford Jr. to be justified.
According to WBRC, the protesters were advised by law enforcement to disperse. After two warnings, two woman failed to comply and were arrested.
During the protest, Bradford’s father spoke over a bullhorn to state that his son had been assassinated and to call Marshall a coward, reported WBRC.
“(Marshall) met with the family and their attorney Tuesday morning,” a representative of the AG’s office told WBRC, “to offer them another chance to see the video, to inform them of the Attorney General’s decision, and to let them know that the video and report would be released to the public.”
