HOOVER — A man turned himself in to police after a fatal shooting at an apartment complex in Hoover. The man was later released.

According to WBRC, on Thursday, police were dispatched to the Nine90 Wisteria apartments due to a report that a man had been shot and was found in the parking lot. The man had been shot at least once and was pronounced dead at around 3 p.m.
The alleged gunman departed the area and later turned himself into the authorities. The man was interviewed by investigators. After coordinating with the Jefferson County District Attorney’s office, the man was released while the investigation continues, according to WBRC.
