TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Parks and Recreation Department is gearing up to offer youth baseball for the spring of 2019.
The program can accommodate those between the ages of five to 18 and is sanctioned by the Greater Birmingham Baseball Association and the Baseball Players Association.
Late registration, which will run until Feb. 16, will cost $180. Evaluations for the league will run through March 1 at a time that will be determined. Only one evaluation is necessary.
Practices will begin in March and continue for the duration of the season, with games starting on April 1 and running through May 4. Most ball games will be played during the week with no more than two games per week. Only three games will be scheduled for a Saturday, and weeknight games will be played at either 5:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.
Registration may be performed online or in person at the Trussville Civic Center.
