TRUSSVILLE — A storm system tracking to the southeast could dump as much as an inch of rain on the metro area and could arrive early enough to impact morning rush hour traffic on Tuesday.
Thunderstorms are possible and there is a marginal risk that some could be severe. Wind gusts of up to 30 mph are also possible.
Tuesday temperatures could drop to the low to mid 50s by Tuesday afternoon. As of 5:30 a.m., it was 66 degrees in Trussville.
