BIRMINGHAM — The Will Bright Foundation will be hosting the Restoration 5K and 15K run at Red Mountain Park on March 16.
All proceeds from the event will go to the Will Bright Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works to help those left vulnerable and devastated by drug addiction. The Will Bright Foundation seeks to break through the cycle of drug addiction by helping those who have gone through rehab to transition back into life by providing a safe place to live after treatment is done, but before they are ready to transition back into a world full of difficulties and temptations. A safe home where those putting their lives together can receive the spiritual support and learn the job skills necessary to triumph over addiction.
This year’s event promises a challenging, technical run for runners of all skill levels.
