JEFFERSON COUNTY — Weather permitting, on Tuesday the Alabama Department of Transportation will continue an Asphalt Paving project for the widening of State Route 150 (John Hawkins Parkway) between Shades Crest Road and Lake Cyrus Boulevard in Jefferson County.
This work will also affect the SR-150 side streets including Whisperwood Drive, Old Section Road, Ross Bridge Pkwy, Edna Road and Lake Cyrus Boulevard.
Traffic interruptions will typically occur from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. daily and is expected to be completed by March 22.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area.
