Lady Husky Kaitlyn Hughes had a very good day on the mound helping Hewitt-Trussville varsity softball rack up a 4-0 victory over Brookwood by throwing a no-hitter in Saturday’s game.
Hannah Borden put up the Huskies’ first runs in the first inning when she drove in two with a single.
Anyce Harvey, Molly Cobb and Borden all provided one hit for the Huskies.
Hughes gave up zero runs and zero hits over three innings. She struck out three.
Kyleigh Farris, pitching for Brookwood, allowed two hits and four runs.
