BIRMINGHAM — The National Weather Service in Birmingham said there could be a chance for severe storms across Alabama Monday night into Tuesday morning.
Meteorologists are watching the area from Wetumpka to Phenix City closely. Isolated tornadoes are possible, along with straight-line winds up to 60 mph and quarter-size hail. The threat will end from Northwest to Southeast overnight.
