BIRMINGHAM – The Birmingham Police Department reported that its detectives are conducting a missing person investigation.
BPD is requesting assistance from the public in locating the missing man.
Police identified the missing person as Arnold Gene Wheeler, a 62 year-old-man from Birmingham. Wheeler is described as standing 5-feet-8-inches and weighing 260 pounds. Wheeler has black hair and brown eyes.
Officials said Wheeler was last seen on Monday, April, 15, near his home in the 1800 block of 31st Street in Ensley. Wheeler was last seen wearing a black shirt, black sweat pants and a gray skull cap. Police said Wheeler suffers from various health challenges, including memory loss.
