From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Police Department arrested two people just 30 minutes after getting a call about car break-ins on May 1, 2019.
The two people taken into custody have not been identified, but investigators said they recovered items that have been unclaimed.
The break-ins happened in the area of Queenstown Road and Still Oaks Drive. Residents who live in that area are asked to check their cars and file a police report if they notice it has been rummaged through.
The two suspects are facing a charge of unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle. Investigators said they only took things from cars that were unlocked. Police said that highlights the importance of removing valuables from your car and locking it when it is unattended.
