VESTAVIA HILLS — The Vestavia Hills Police Department, the Homewood Police Department and the Secret Service Financial Crimes Task Force arrested two suspects they said were involved in multiple car burglaries, identity thefts and credit card fraud throughout the state of Alabama.
Police said the suspects were targeting parking lots of gyms, pre-schools, day cares and recreation areas such as parks and walking tracks. The suspects’ identities and charges are as follows:
Damien D. Waller, 25, Tamarac, Florida
5 Counts of Unlawful Breaking & Entering of a Vehicle-$75,000 Bond total
4 Counts of Theft of Property 3rd- $40,000 Bond
1 Count of Fraudulent use of Credit Card (Shelby County DA’s Office-$5,000 Bond)
Waller’s charges have a total bond amount of $115,000.00.
Tazomi S. Natta, 28, Plantation, Florida.
5 Counts of Unlawful Breaking & Entering of a Vehicle-$75,000 Bond total
4 Counts of Theft of Property 3rd- $40,000 Bond
Natta’s charges have a total bond amount of $115,000.00.
