BIRMINGHAM — One person is dead after an altercation at an apartment complex in Birmingham.
Detectives were called out to the scene around 8:08 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Police said the victim was found unresponsive in an apartment on Center Street North after a fight that witnesses said happened outside and moved into the apartment.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue reported to the scene along with coroner and pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
A person of interest has been taken into custody.
