TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club inducted a new member at its weekly meeting on May 15.
New member Jase Buttram was inducted at the meeting. Rotary’s mission is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through our fellowship of business, professional and community leaders.
More than 1.2 million people in over 35,000 clubs around the world are members of Rotary. Paul Harris, a Chicago attorney formed the Rotary Club of Chicago in February 1905, so professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas, form meaningful, lifelong friendships, and give back to their communities.
The Trussville Daybreak Club meets at 7 a.m. on Wednesday mornings at First Baptist Church Trussville.
