AUBURN — The voice of Auburn, Rod Bramblett, and his wife, Paula, were both killed in a car accident on Saturday, May 25, 2019.
The Auburn Police Department investigated the accident on Shug Jordan Parkway at West Samford Avenue, according to the Opelika-Auburn News.
Rod Bramblett, 53, was airlifted to UAB Hospital where he died from his injuries.
Paula Bramblett was taken to East Alabama Medical Center where she died.
The teen involved was taken to East Alabama Medical Center in serious condition.
Prayers and condolences were expressed on social media to the Bramblett family and to the Auburn family.
The official Twitter page of Auburn University tweeted about the accident, asking for prayers for the Bramblett family.
