BESSEMER — The Bessemer Police Department responded to a deadly shooting on Tuesday, June 4, 2019.
Officers were called to the home in the 1700 block of Long 14th Street North at 8:09 p.m.
A man was found outside of a home, suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was taken to UAB Medical West where he was pronounced dead at 8:47 p.m.
The victim has been identified by the Jefferson County Coroner as 23-year-old Devin Skyler Sandlin.
