From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE — The Hewitt-Trussville Middle School will be hosting the annual “Sixth Grade Secrets to Success” night Aug. 5-7.
This is a night to meet your child’s teachers, learn more about sixth grade and the middle school, bring supplies and access lockers.
Crowds will be smaller than the usual crowd for the “Meet the Teacher” event. This will allow the new sixth graders some extra time at lockers and with their teachers. By attending “Secrets to Success,” students will gain valuable information to help make the transition to sixth grade as smooth as possible.
Students that attend “Secrets to Success” will not be required to attend the “Meet the Teacher” event, but may still opt to do so.
- Monday, Aug. 5 — Home Dogs (Williamson, Gray, Booker, Bowman)
- Tuesday, Aug. 6 — Top Dogs (Maze, Rosetta, Shelnutt, Copus)
- Wednesday, Aug. 7 — Alpha Dogs (Luce, Bettis, Henry, Dennis)
All events will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Hewitt-Trussville Middle School auditorium.
